About Dr. Samar
Dr. Huma Samar, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Jerry L Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center. She leads a comprehensive multimodality cardiac imaging program encompassing Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI (CMR), SPECT and Cardiac PET.
With over a decade of expertise, she combines clinical excellence with technological innovation in cardiovascular care.
Dr. Samar is board-certified in Clinical Cardiology, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography, with Level III certifications from the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR)
